A Home Built on Intention
Set in the Bay Area, this four-bedroom, three-bath home was designed around the way its owners truly live. The main living spaces sit on the top floor, where natural light and connection are central to daily life.
The kitchen, in particular, was ready for a thoughtful reimagining — a chance to balance modern functionality with timeless warmth.
By reframing the once-problematic corner into a built-in coffee bar, the layout gained both purpose and polish. What was once dead space became one of the most loved features in the home — practical, sculptural, and beautifully cohesive.
Design That Flows
Before the renovation, the kitchen layout was functional but constrained. A dated peninsula and an awkward corner broke up the space, disrupting both flow and sightlines. The redesign focused on creating a more open, grounded feel — anchored by rich walnut cabinetry, integrated appliances, and subtle mid-century references..
Collaborative by Nature
Every project begins with understanding how a home functions day to day. From the earliest floor plans to material selection, Danielle worked closely with the homeowners to translate their needs into a clear, intentional design. Detailed renderings and curated mood boards allowed the clients to visualize the entire space — creating confidence and alignment from the very beginning.
The process was remarkably smooth. With all materials and fixtures selected before contractor bidding, the project stayed organized and on budget — a testament to strong planning and collaboration.
Crafted for Everyday Living
The finished kitchen reflects the heart of Danielle’s philosophy: homes should feel as effortless as they look. The walnut millwork brings warmth and depth, while integrated appliances and thoughtful storage elevate daily routines.
The clients describe the space as their dream kitchen — one that honors both their lifestyle and the home’s architectural roots. Their trust and decisiveness made this project not just a remodel, but a reflection of what’s possible when design and collaboration truly align.
